Michael's friend Carlo emailed Gearbox Software after his death to request that David Eddings, voice of comedy robot character Claptrap, record a eulogy. The Gearbox team haven't just acceded to his request - they've also opted to create a non-playable character based on Michael in the new Borderlands. Talk about fan service.

We don't have much to add to this, other than that we're moved and a little confused.
