A retailer document has revealed that the silver Xbox 360 controller will be released in the UK on March the 4th and will cost £44.99. It will be bundled with a play and charge kit.

The silver version finally fixes one of the major problems with the Xbox 360's control pads - the D-pad. It "transforms" when you twist it, giving you more control and precision than the current controllers offer.

If this sounds worthy of buying another controller for (fighting game fans, we're looking at you) then you can get your hands on it in less than two months. Or you can import one from the US, if you're feeling particularly impatient.
