Mass Effect 2 first day DLC detailed

Norweigan newspaper DagBladet has reported on what the first Mass Effect 2 DLC (the article has since been removed).

DagBladet says that along with the expected armour and weapons, there will also be an unlockable planet to play through plus a new ally known as Zaeed Messani. The DLC will be available through Cerberus Network, an in-game store named after one of the Black Ops groups in Mass Effect.

How likely is this info to be true? We're not betting against it, given stronger DLC support was one of the promises BioWare made for this sequel. Even so, we see the availability of a DLC planet and character on day one ruffling a few feathers from those who will inevitably ask why they weren't included with the full game.

We'll just have to see how this one plays out.
